Tom Timberman is a former lawyer, senior Foreign Service officer and for the past 15 years a political and economic development adviser or field manager in conflict and post conflict environments, most recently Afghanistan. He has written two books on foreign direct investment in the Baltics and Vietnam. Tom lectures frequently as an adjunct professor, or speaker at world affairs councils and at US and European universities. He served in the US Army as an NCO at NSA.
